What We Create

Here at db Props we can offer a wide range of services, carried out by a team of people who come from many different backgrounds. Below are a few examples of what we have done and what we can do for you.

Modelmaking

We have designed and built models and miniatures in a diverse range of materials for a variety of clients.

Weaponry

The team at db Props have designed and fabricated all manner of weapons and action props, be it traditional or more ‘futuristic’.

Furniture

Over the years we have made period, contemporary and futuristic furniture for Films, TV and private installations.

Specialist Props and Repairs

We manufacture custom props for any period from plans or specifications. We also repair and modify of hired or purchased props.

Sets

We have built many sets, from starship interiors for ‘Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith’ to elevators and Indian slums.

Promotional Objects & Exhibitions

We also create promotional objects, exhibition displays and stands – such as man-sized Starbucks cups and shoes you could park a car in.

Our Facilities

Our new workshop is right in the heart of Shepperton Studios. At 2245 sq ft with large opening doors front and rear, our prop making facilities are light, spacious and can accommodate most projects large or small. We also have our own spray booth with extraction. Our location also gives us the advantage of quick reaction times.
